Vinyl Application Terms & Conditions

These terms & conditions are in addition to and should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Business.

For the purposes of these terms & conditions “you”, “your” and “customer” is the purchaser of our vinyl application service and “we”, “us” and “our” is Joyce Design UK Ltd.

1. General terms
1.1. All vehicles must be presented to our application team clean and dry, free from pre-delivery wax or grease etc. We will check the vehicle on arrival. We reserve the right to charge for any time spent cleaning a vehicle in preparation for application.
1.2. You warrant that you will bring to our attention prior any body work, damage or repair as this may affect the finish and thus our warranty.
1.3. We do not accept responsibility for any damage to paintwork when removing graphics.
1.4. We do not accept responsibility for any paint fading once graphics are removed.
1.5. If the vehicle(s) we are booked to complete is/are not available or the graphics cannot be applied for reasons beyond our control, please be aware that we will make charges in full as per our quote. We also reserve the right to charge for waiting time (longer than 15mins), travel, staff subsistence, overtime and accommodation should these become necessary.
1.6. Should we need to make a return visit due to circumstances beyond our control, our time will be charged at full rates.
1.7. Completion times are only a guide. We reserve the right to take a little longer should we need to.

2. Ftting vehicle graphics on location or at the customer premises
2.1. All vehicles must be under cover with good lighting, all utilities available (Water, power, etc) and a minimum of 1 metre working area to make application practical. It must be clean and reasonably dust-free. Should these facilities not be available, we reserve the right to charge for any return visits if necessary to complete the application.
2.2. Vehicles must be inside and undercover at the ambient temperature. Minimum of 13C.
2.3. Our applications team will carry out an assessment before starting to apply the graphics and will advise on any problems they foresee.

3. Vehicle wrapping on location or at the customer premises
3.1. The room temperature must be maintained from 18-26C during wrapping. This allows the adhesive to bond effectively.
3.2. All vehicles must be under cover with good lighting, all utilities available (Water, power, etc) and a minimum of 1 metre working area to make application practical. It must be clean and reasonably dust-free. Should these facilities not be available, we reserve the right to charge for any return visits if necessary to complete the application.
3.3. We reserve the right to make stress relief cuts in the vinyl where deep recesses occur.
3.4. We may have to remove badges when wrapping your vehicle. We will take every possible care when doing so, but cannot be held responsible to any breakages that may occur. Should you wish to remove these yourself prior to application please advise our applications team.
3.5. Only exterior body panels will be wrapped, this excludes door shuts unless stated differently within your quote.
3.6. Make sure that you advise your insurance company if you have had a full or part wrap. This is in order for them to fully reclaim costs should you be unlucky enough to be involved in an accident.
3.7. We offer a full warranty to wraps completed on our premises. Terms of warranty for wraps completed offsite will differ and will be clearly started at time or order.
3.8. Colour may vary slightly from the visual that you have approved unless a specific colour pantone reference has been given. Colour samples are available upon request.
3.9. Completion times are only a guide. We reserve the right to take a little longer should we need to.

4. Looking After Your Vehicle Graphics
4.1. Please allow 5 days from completion before you wash your vehicle.
4.2. Hand wash only. Do not use a pressure washer or automatic washes.
4.3. Avoid using harsh cleaning products or chemicals.
4.4. Clean vehicle from top to bottom, allowing dirt and debris to fall downwards to prevent scratches.
4.5. Take care when cleaning around small text.
4.6. Wipe any spillages from vinyl immediately.

They also have a quality control production environment and storage facilities and invest in staff training. All graphics manufacturers who display the SPP Logo have signed up to a high standard of graphic production.
